This morning he had Ryan come on the morning show to quiz him. There is a new album out that is solely scripture. Who could write better lyrics than God, right? So they would start the song and Ryan would tell them when to stop and tell them what book and chapter that scripture came from. The first song played "Whatever is true...", and Ryan answered correctly Philippians 4.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9While he did have trouble with a song from the Psalms, I'm still proud of him. Not everyone can pull from a few words what book of the Bible it is, much less the chapter. Johnny kept calling him "Bible Man Ryan". Yep, he's my Bible Man. :-)
