Water the Plants...

A few weeks ago I had mentioned that I was viewing sermons online about the Seven Deadly Sins. The sermon on sloth wasn't just about not being lazy in action, but sloth can affect a lot of areas of life. It can make us neglect our relationships (spouse, friends, family...), much like the way we can neglect to "Water the Plants".

At Annika's funeral, many testified to the way she never neglected her relationships. She was always sending emails, or cards to those who God impressed on her heart.

I always think of people, but I don't let them know that. I don't always send the email, or post on their wall (it's a Facebook thing). After hearing about the way Annika was and the sermon on sloth, I aspire to do better. In fact my first card is ready to mail. And keep an eye out for a wall post or an email in your inbox. I'm not neglecting my plants any more.
