Let's go, go, go, go White Sox!

Tonight was special...Ryan and I went to a White Sox game to celebrate my birthday. We went with the youth group, which was fine with me. We didn't have to drive, and we didn't have to find parking, it was great.

I have never been to a professional baseball game, or a professional anything. Although, would Bears training camp count? Or a Joliet Jackhammers game count? So I was very excited. We have driven past old Comiskey (Ryan cannot call it by it's new name, U.S. Cellular Field) many times on our way up to Chi-town. Yet, this was the first time actually going in it.

Ryan bought me a t-shirt as part of my birthday gift. But the greatest part of the gift was a White Sox win, 6-2, over the Los Angeles Angels. Included in that would be two home runs by Jim Thome (one was a three-run homer) and one by Paul Konerko. :)

So there were plenty of fireworks. Shot off three times for the home runs and then for the win!
