Job Openings

This is my last week of school. I'm so happy. I had two major projects due and a test this week. One project is completely done and the other is halfway done (and should be done tonight, if I can just get off FaceBook) and my test is open book. In July I'm taking my last test. I'm thisclose to getting my teaching certificate.

I say all this to preface that...There is a new job opening at BBCHS, for a Social Science teacher. I am turning in my application and resume tomorrow. I'm stoked and shocked to say the least. I had to read the posting in the teachers' mail room three or four times. I wanted to make sure I was reading it right.

I also found out that there is a another Social Science teacher is interviewing elsewhere. So there could potentially be TWO openings! Talk about manna from heaven. I picked the wrong content area to go into, because History teachers just don't retire. And Mom pointed out that there is an opening posted on a Education job bank in St. Anne, which is close by. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I can't believe this is happening.

My only prayer request is that God's will be done in this situation. While on paper it all looks perfect, there may be something that God doesn't like. I'm saying this to myself, too. A little pep talk, so I don't get too ahead of God.
