Whew! Glad that's done!

I finished my APT test today in under 3 hours. Considering that they allowed 5 hours, I thought that was pretty good.

Ryan drove me up to South Holland, IL, so I could study. I was really nervous about taking the test as well as getting up there. The test was 120 multiple choice questions and two essay questions. And those were right up my alley. The first question wanted a lesson plan for a learning activity that would incorporate technology. The second was about how I would utilize a Paraprofessional (teacher aide) in my classroom. I about cried with joy when I read that one, since that's my current job.

I will know in a couple weeks if I passed or not. I think I did okay. We'll see.

I still have to take a content specific test (Social Science - History) and take one more class. I should be able to start teaching this fall, if I can find a job.
