The one that I adore

The other day I was thinking about posting this blog. It's about how wonderful my husband is. But the day I was going to write it, we had an argument, and the words just would not come. Not matter how hard I tried to write them, they sounded so false to me. But now that we are no longer mad at each other, it's easier to write.

Here is a list of things that I adore about Ryan:

  • He cooks dinner for me. Last week he cooked two meals for us. Most of the time it's because we have a time crunch due to my job and we have commitments. But Tuesday I came home, thinking about what I would fix, and he already had it started. I was very appreciative!
  • He cares about my health. After gorging myself with chocolate and caffeine a couple weekends ago, he checks with me frequently about how I did through out the day.
  • He's hilarious. I was telling him how I thought a certain basketball player from Notre Dame had a funny last name. He came up with a new name for one of our favorite things to eat - McAlarney and Cheese!
  • He knows his Bible. Yesterday in Sunday School, our teacher was asking for readers of Scripture. Ryan volunteered, and was able to quote the whole thing!
  • He's caring and willing to reach out to others. We've instituted "Movie Night" on Fridays. We have a lot of movies, most of them I haven't seen. So we watch those, it's a lot cheaper than going to the movies or renting. The last two times we've had one, we invited people over. Jee and Desiree came over, and then Trevor and Annika.
While this post is not exactly Elizabeth Barrett Browning, it's my way of telling the world...
I HAVE THE BEST HUSBAND!
