Okay, so I have this dumb tradition of getting sick for Thanksgiving. At least this year I don't have strep throat. It seemed that every year while I was in grade school, with out a doubt, I would get that wretched disease for the holiday. Thus, I was unable to partake in the delicious dinner my grandmother and mother made. :-( And leftovers are not the same. Although I did get to camp out on th couch and watch Mary Poppins till my heart's content. I wonder if my mother-in-law will allow me such a luxury. So, since I am home from work today, I thought I would catch you up on the happenings of the Kuehls. We've been quite busy.
Here are some more adorable pictures of Dixie. We are thinking about getting another cat. I want to wait until after the holidays, when my decorations are down, before we introduce another kitten to Chez Kuehl.
Last weekend was a blur for us. We left Friday night to go to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I had to work at the daycare, so we couldn't leave until after 6. We eventually got to my grandparents house just after Midnight (MI time, 11 IL time). After staying up and visiting with them I went to bed at 1:30, only to have to get up at 6:00. We left Grand Rapids and headed to Kalamazoo, for a quizing invitational. There we met up with our quizzers. The night before I had realized that I didn't have a lot of pictures of the team as a whole. So, I went picture crazy, as you can see by the slideshow. I have a deep affection for Taco (Lena), Moonshine (Jaylene), Jackrabbit (Sam), and Ghostrider (Joe). Oh and for Applesause (Sara), French Fry (Scott), and Fish (Jeremy). Ryan and I are soon to gain some nicknames. Stay tuned....
