Presidential Trivia - Cool!

Last Friday, my family and I went out to Olive Garden (my fav.) to celebrate that I was done with classes. Mom and Dad gave me this book on the Presidents: Every Question Answered. My kinda book. :)

So flipping through it, I found out some interesting facts that I wanted to share with everyone.

1. Grover Cleveland's real name is Stephen Grover Cleveland.
2. Why did we give Clinton so much flak about not serving in the military, when there were others who had not served either? Examples: John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and John Quincy Adams (to name a few).
3. John Tyler, the 10th President, was the first Vice President to become President. His predecessor, William Henry Harrison, was the first President to die in office. He died because his Inaugural Address was so long, and he stood outside in the rain without a coat and caught pneumonia.
4. Tyler, later in life, served in the CONFEDERATE House of Representatives. A former president serving in the Congress of a FOREIGN country!!!! Whoa, totally blows my mind.
