Heat Wave! In more ways than one...

Oh... My... Gosh! The weather here in Illinois has been absolutely wonderful these past couple of days. Yesterday I wore my flip flops, in February! I thought that was quite an oxymoron. There is still snow on the ground, but on in places where it was really piled up high. And believe me, it was piled HIGH! I saw a lot of kids playing outside, without their coats on and in long sleeve t-shirts. It was the best day... now just wait, next week will be freezing again. Winter's not over yet, folks!

And speaking of heat... We think that Daisy's going through that right now. Ever since Friday she won't shut up! Always meowing and almost moaning, all this while she's wallowing on the floor. When we couldn't figure it out, we looked it up online (God bless the internet). So we have a couple more days of her misery. Ryan said that he feels bad for her, because her hormones are driving her crazy. So I asked what every wife would want to know, "Do you feel sorry for me, when my hormones are driving me crazy?" He answered correctly, although I bet it wasn't truthfully, when he said that he did. As soon as we can, we are getting her fixed! Dixie never went through this and you can tell it's annoying her too.
