So I have blogged about the cats in a while...

I realized that fact this morning. And when I talked to Christine at church, she asked about the kitty. So, without further ado...

Daisy and Dixie are working on getting along. There are times when they will be nose to nose in such a sweet little moment, and then one of them (usually Dixie) will take a swipe at the other. Last night they fell asleep on the arms of our chair, one on each side, facing the opposite directions. But when I got up to get the camera, Daisy woke up and decided to join us on the couch. Only she sleeps behind the back cushions. When Dixie woke up, she walked over to where Daisy was sleeping on the arm of the couch, and growled and hissed at her. To Daisy's credit, she just continued sleeping, only peeking at Dixie through one eye. Then Dixie curled up right there and fell asleep too.

I will reiterate that I feel like the mother of two teenage girls. All the "cat fighting" (pun intended) is getting old. Yet we have moved to a communal food bowl and water bowl and litter box. Right now they are taking a nap with Ryan. A nap sounds good to me too. So I will end this post. Good night!

PS. I forgot to mention that the scrapblog above I created on Scrapblog.com. We have found Daisy doing some of the things that Dixie used to do. Thus, they are So Much A Like.
