Weekend Update

I KNOW! I KNOW! TWO BLOGS IN ONE DAY!

I thought I would try to do a weekly update for mostly family to know what we've been upto. We'll see how long this lasts.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday were spent with family in Michigan. My grandparents celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary! They knew that Mom and Dad were coming, but Ryan and I showing up was a surprise. I had a blast with you crazy Joneses (oh wait, I'M a crazy Jones too!) Oh, and I downloaded a really cool ring-tone, so people need to call me so I can hear it.

Tuesday was back to school. Never easy after a long weekend. The heat was unbearable in the building. So they let the kids out early. They were released at 12:30, staff had to wait until all students were gone before they could leave. So I ended up leaving at my normal time, 1:00.

Wednesday was a crazy day for me again. Between the two jobs, Quiz practice, and Youth group, I barely had time to eat or think. Mom, called in the middle of quizzing, so all my kids got to hear my phone giggling.

Thursday was the rainy, icky day. We were getting the remnants of Gustav. I went to KCC for my econ class, in the rain. I went to Walmart to pick up goodies for Annika's birthday, in the rain. I went to bible study, in the rain. Then I went home, in the rain. We truly needed it, but it could have stopped after awhile.

Friday, it always amazes me how the weather can change so quickly. We went from being so hot that school is let out, to wearing jackets and sweatshirts. Also, last night we had our friends Chris and Liz come over for dinner. We had a blast, playing games and eating good food (Liz, the dessert was fabulous!)
